Methodology & Honesty Statement
- Scope and methodology are annotated in each report; holiday-adjustment rules follow the Help Center.
- Rates below 100% are shown as-is, with causes and fixes — polish once, and trust is gone.
- No unmeasurable adjectives ("fastest/best") appear on this page — every sentence must survive the data.
- Claim details are anonymized; no personally identifiable information.
The first data report publishes after one full month of operations (updated by the 3rd of each month).
Tariff & compliance data (machine-readable)
Tariff highlights and latest-order calendars for the US/CA/UK/EU are maintained as structured JSON for partners and support systems: /data/tariff-config.json
Data version: 2026-09-20 ｜ Status: DRAFT-PLACEHOLDER — All values are conservative placeholders pending legal/logistics review and constitute no legal or tax commitment.
Landed price & duty estimate disclosure
- Landed price = goods value + service fee + domestic shipping (if any) + international freight + estimated duties; each item is listed separately on the estimate page.
- Duty/VAT estimates always carry the badge "Estimate · subject to customs clearance"; the final amount is determined by customs at clearance.
- BUYCN does not pay duties on your behalf and makes no tax-inclusive (all-duties-paid) promise.
- For destinations or categories without a configured rate/threshold, the site honestly shows "Duties are determined at customs clearance" instead of inventing a default.
How your costs add up: two stages from order to delivery
- Stage 1 · Purchasing (within China): product price + domestic freight (charged at the seller's actual cost, no markup; most listings ship free; typically ¥0-12 otherwise) + service fee (Currently waived); standard QC and basic packing are included free (free base).
- Stage 2 · Consolidation (international): international freight by chargeable weight (greater of actual vs volumetric, per packed measurement) + customs duties (estimate, subject to customs) + optional services (outbound photo free (required record), reinforced packing ¥5/order and shipping insurance 2% of value, optional).
No charges exist outside these two stages; live amounts at checkout and on the estimator always prevail.
